 Anne grew up in Leeds, but now lives in the beautiful countryside of south-west Scotland, with 15 years in Germany in between.  Her interest in photography was aroused at an early age, when she was given her grandmother’s box Brownie (yes, the one with the metal, pull-out viewfinder!).

Progress was made with the help of a Kodak 127 and then an Instamatic, which she used for several years.  However, it was nearly 30 years ago, when she bought her first single lens reflex camera, an Olympus OM1, that she really started to discover what the possibilities were.
Photography remained a hobby until recently, when Anne decided to turn professional, and to earn a living doing what she enjoys.
